Open since: May 2, 2004 Welcome to Dear Michelle, the official Fanlisting for the Dear Michelle book series - one of the many book series about the famous Olsen twins Mary-Kate & Ashley. Michelle is Michelle Tanner, the character the two girls played in the television series Full House (1987-1995). Full House has had many book series: Full House: Michelle with Michelle Tanner, the youngest sister, as main character, Full House: Sisters with both Stephanie and Michelle Tanner as main characters, Full House Club: Stephanie with Stephanie Tanner, the middle sister, as main character, and now: Dear Michelle. Dear Michelle has Michelle as main character again. This series is mostly about Michelle and her class mates: the class has its own newspaper and Michelle writes the advise column 'Dear Michelle'. Kids write to her with their problems and she tries to solve them. Book covers: Full House television: Full House started in 1987, starring the Tanner family. Mother Pam had just passed away, leaving father Danny (Bob Saget) behind with his three daughters: D(onna) J(o) (Candance Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle (Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen). Danny asked his brother-in-law Jesse Cochran / Katsopolis (John Stamos) and his best friend Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) to move in to help him out with the girls. At first, the two men found it hard, but soon they got used to their new lives. As the years passed, other characters joined the series. D.J.'s best friend and next door neighbour Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) appeared in almost every episode, just like Danny television co-host Rebecca Donaldson (Lori Loughlin). Jesse fell in love with her and they ended up being married. Becky gave birth to twin boys Nicky & Alex (Blake & Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit) later on in the series. Danny was engaged to Vicky Larson (Gail Edwards) for a while, but broke the engagement as well. D.J. dated Steve Hale (Scott Weiniger) for more than one season. And let's not forget about the family golden retriever dog Comet! See why the series was called 'Full House'? In the USA, you can still watch the re-runs of the eight seasons and Season 1 and 2 are out on DVD. Season 3 will be released on DVD April 4!
