The Benjamin Gate right now, thanks to Jeremy Camp, eventually there won't be a Benjamin Gate, so when they're gone, then it'll be Jeremy. But I do like him, he rocks.

OK, Friday Five:

1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it?
Yeah, I had 3 best friends from like, when I was really little. Their names were Marco, Nelson and Josh. Marco and Nelson lived down the street from me, and actually Marco still does, but we don't talk much. I knew Josh from the pre-k class at church.

2. Are you still in touch with this person?
I talked to Marco a few weeks ago, Josh still goes to my church so we talk some and Nelson claims he never knew me...lol.

3. Do you have a current close friend?
As you can see, I'm not really big on having 1 best friend, so I have 8. Ben, Ben, Julie, Scott, Travis, Liz, Melissa and Andy. We're all really close friends and we hang out or talk all the time.

4. How did you become friends with this person?
I go to a small school and that's most of our class and most of us have known each other since first or second grade.

5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why?
Yeah, my best friend from first to sixth grade, Kimberly. We were really close, but she moved and we kept in touch for awhile, but it got too hard.

No questions today..:(
Wow, it's been a short week. I haven't gotten anything done. It's probably cuz I've been sleeping in. You feel like you've lost half a day when you sleep in, ya know?
Well my mom and I decided to do a project together for the first time since I was, like, ten. It was kinda fun...look what we made. It's like, weird modern art. It's a spin-off on something we saw in Nashville.
I feel REALLY sorry for my little brother right now. He's got really light skin and he went swimming for 4 hours the other day without sunscreen. Now the entire upper half of his body is bright read and there's blisters all over his shoulders. He can barely move so he had to sleep sitting up last nite in my room cuz I have a recliner. He still said he only got about and hour of sleep cuz it hurt so bad. :(
But there is good news coming up. My youth leader told us that in honor of the 60th anniversary of our church, he's bringing in some "mystery artist" and we're all gonna meet at the high school. He said that we'll need the stage plus all the space we can get once everyone finds out who's gonna be there. I'm REALLY excited.
Well, I gotta go, my neighbor is moving and I'm fixin' to go help her out.

how much do you love Aedan?
Actually I don't really know Aedan, but everyone else seems to love him, so why not?

I LOVE the end of the summer. It's a really good excuse to go "Back to School" shopping. I went to JCPenny's today and bought these 2 really cute shirts and a pair of shoes at Payless. I LOVE shopping! I could do it every day! But I'm running out of money...so I should prob'ly stop.
Last night I decided to go to church instead of the musical I was talking about last blog. Now I'm regretting it. I wanted to go to church cuz my youth Brad (my youth leader) is doing this study on Christian music videos and it's really interesting. Last nite we looked at The Swift's 'Til I Met You.' It was really good. I really like that song. So anyway, after my parents got home from the play, they told me that this guy, Zack as in it. I would've gone if I had known that. We went on a choir tour with my church last year to Nashville and he did a solo of 'America the Beautiful' that was so good people cried. My parents said he stole the show. Now I'm gonna have to go see it on Saturday or something...Of course I could've seen it for free last nite, but now it'll be ten bucks. :(
Not much else to say today...so it's a kinda short blog. But I try to blog every time I get a question...

Well I didn't get to blog with the new layout last night. That's Superchick in case you didn't know.
I finally got my Seven Places Site up! It doesn't have a ton of content yet and the main page needs a little work, but it's not too bad. I'm gonna get to see them at Festival Con Dios. That's gonna be SOOO awesome! I'm gonna get there really early and rush right to the stage and stay there till all the concert are over. But I need to buy some more memory for my camera cuz I'm known for taking a lot of pictures. At my last Newsboys concert I took almost 300 and at the last Plus One concert I went to, 150. Then at a "one hour long" Mary Mary concert, I took 50. So yeah, I'm a picture freak. So if I'm going to an all day concert, I've gotta be prepared.

whats your settings for drop shadows that go around cut images?
In PSP 7, go to Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow. It's also the 3rd button in the Effexts Toolbar.

who are the guys in this layout?
That's By the Tree. They're an awesome rock band. Check out their new CD, Root. If you buy it now, you get a free DVD.

I got Across the Sky's new CD today. They're awesome. They record one of my favorite songs, "Do You Dream of Me." It's an old Smitty song. Of course he's better at it, but they don't butcher it like some people do his songs.
Everyone go to Donnie's site. He finally got it back up and the layout is awesome.

I think you should make a free psds thing in the you section.
Yeah except PSDs take up a LOT of space and right now I only have about 10 MB of space on this domain. There's no way I can do that until I get more space.

OK I did the 1st one. Here it is. The 2nd pic is not a very good one for PSDs. Kristin's hair blends into the background and you can't tell where it stops and starts. Then Alisa's hair is in about a million little strands. Sorry. Maybe someone with more experience could do it for you.


How do you add that border arond cut images? Like in your current layout here you have a bold black border around the guys! I wanna know! hehe thanks
You've gotta get the picture you want the border around and copy it into a big black picture. Be sure to paste it as a new selection. Then, in PSP go to Selections > Modify > Expand and pick how big you want the border to be. Then paste it back into your original graphic.


Yes! Lex has a beautiful head! I think he's a cutie....and Clark is gorgeous! You can't not love him!

I'm on the Relient K Street Team and they were having this contest where you can design a button for the site. I didn't win, but since I entered one, they're sending me a Relient K prize pack. How cool is that? I should've entered more of the contests!
Anyway, I'm gonna be REALLY bored today. I'm stuck at home cuz my mom has like, a million things to do so she won't take me anywhere. My friends aren't home and lucky me, my mom volunteered me to babysit tonite. I told her I didn't want to and she said "If you don't wanna do it for money, do it because you're a good neighbor!" I'm like, "If I don't wanna do it for money, then I definitely don't wanna do it because I'm a good neighbor!" Sorry that sounds selfish, but I'm just really not in the mood.

I have some inside info about a PSD site that I'm not s'posed to know about, so you'll get onem just not from Amy and I...but as for she and I doin' one, I doubt it. Maybe one day I'll have the time to do something like that, tho. If anyone REALLY wants a PSD tho, just send me the URL for a good high-quality pic and I'll do it for you. But I'm not making a business out of it here.


What do you think about Stacie Orrico and what she is doing now?
I think it's really cool how she's getting out there in the mainstram music. It's cool when an artist can get a song that isn't about God (i.e. "Stuck") and get it out there, cuz then people will get her album and get the godly messages from the other songs. Although, I do think she should dress a little less like the world.


Who is your favorite character on "Smallville"? Mine are Clark and Lex =D
OOH mine too! You can't help but not love them, even if you know that one day Lex will be the bad guy. How can anyone have such a perfect head? lol. And once Clark flashes that million-dollar smile, how can you not love him?


if you had the chance to make a site about anyone and have it titled "the official fansite" who would it be?
OOH. Hard question...Umm...prob'ly Relient K. Cuz if, say, my Daily Planet Site was "official" it wouldn't be a big deal cuz they're not as popular and nobody goes there anyway. But Relient K is a very popular band, and usually being the official fansite means you get free concert tickets and I would do just about anything for RK tickets!

OMG last nite I actually won something on the radio! Yay! The DJ said he wanted the 7th caller, and that they would win 2 Tree63 CDs. So I called and the guy answered the phone and I'm like, "Uh, am I caller number 7?" He's like, "Actually you're like, caller number 15 or so." So I'm thinking "oops" and I was gonna hang up but he's like, "Nobody's getting this right!" I'm goin' "What?" And he asked me where Tree 63 was from. So I'm like, "South Africa, duh?" He started screaming "Hallelujah! There's actually a Tree63 fan out there!" So yeah that was cool and I got to be on the radio. Then the DJ said he'd come to my website. Yay! Hi Kent!
OK, now I'm not getting ANY questions lately! OK, well one or two, but not enough! I noticed that when Karen threatened to take hers down, she got like a LOT more. So if I threated to take mine down will you ask me something? (Yeah right..lol)

Dude, I woke up at 7:00 this morning cuz I thought it was Sunday and I had to go to church. Then when I realized it wasn't, I was already awake and couldn't go back to sleep. Now I've had a headache all day because I'm not used to getting up that early...
You know it's really cool how a whole city comes out on the 4th of July. Our town has about 25,000 people in it and there were about 20,000 filling the Wal-Mart, Target, Mall & Lowes parking lots. They were also in the gas stations, restaurants, parks and streets. Everyone got together to watch a 30 minute fireworks show. It was so cool. There was this little girl, about 3 years old, near us and she was having the time of her life! Every time a firework would go up, she'd laugh and scream and clap like it was the coolest thing in the world. It was so cute!
Umm...not much else to talk about. I'm finally clocking some hours toward getting my drivers permit. That's really sad since I turn 16 in 3 months. I should have gotten it about 9 or 10 months ago. That means I won't be getting my liscense till almost the end of next school year. :( *sigh* My parents don't wanna pay to send me to drivers ed, but they don't have time to teach it themselves. This is gonna take forever, cuz my dad is out of the country most of the year....
Well, enough complaining about that...Now I'm gonna go work on some QSD stuff. Only 7 orders left...think I can do it in a day? (hint: no)

Happy 4th of July everyone!
OK, I'm so sick of the computer, I don't know why I'm even sitting here right now typing this. I never thought I'd say that. But I put up a new layout at Daily Planet Zone. The layout itself took me about an hour and a half to code. I don't think I've ever used a calculator in making a layout, much less that much. Then the main page was making me mad. It didn't turn out quite like I wanted...the way it is now was actually an accident. Then I worked for 6 hours straight this morning getting all the pages done and getting everything back up. I'm exhausted.
Then the other day some of you might have noticed that the site was on hold for a little while...Well in that time I cleaned out about 15MB of junk on this site and I still only have about 18MB left to use till August. Then I'm changing servers. So I need to stop adding anything but text for awhile cuz most of the space goes into QSD.
So everyone please go see the site, I think it's one of my fav layouts ever. That and the old Jeremy Camp layout I made for this site. (See past layouts.) Oh yeah, and Donnie made a really cool splash for MAGICal. Go see it.

Oh man, it feels good to be able to sleep in again...I was gone for so long and had to get up at 6:30 to travel every morning. I was afraid I forgot what it felt like...lol. I think I'm gonna find some college, like a real one, not a community, and do some shopping. There always seem to be really nice, cute shops around them. Especially the nice private ones. Except then the stores are expensive...but I like to look.
Thanks to Andrea for telling me that there was no ask me form...I was thinking "How come nobody is aksing questions?!?" lol. Well it's up now. So go ask something!!

*sigh* I'm really upset...Bobby left Daily Planet. That kinda ruined my day...Now I have to go make a new layout for DPZ without him...(no that's not why I'm upset that he's leaving!)
I was wondering if anyone wanted to help me out at QSD.I want someone who knows what they're doing and has plenty of experience. Oh, and you have to be good. Some people think they are but aren't...you know who you are.
