My Top 5 "OTP"s
This is a "meme" from Livejournal that I did, and I thought it would be fun to post here.
1. Pick your 5 favorite OTP's.
2. Find pictures and post them.
3. Give the name of the OTP and what fandom they're from.
4. List your favorite moment between them.
Rory and Jess from "Gilmore Girls."
I'm not sure I have a favourite, but two moments that come to mind are:
1) when Jess comes back at Sookie's wedding and Rory gives him a spontaneous "welcome back" kiss.
2) During "They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?" Rory and Jess can't keep their eyes off of each other, and after Dean breaks up with Rory, at the bridge (paraphrasing):
Jess: "Dean's a jerk."
Rory: "Well, he was right..."
Silence.
Rory: "Well, he was right about me!"
Jess: "Yeah, he was right... about all of it."
Luke and Lorelai from "Gilmore Girls."
I don't think I can choose! Although I still absolutely love the scene in the season 3 premiere where Lorelai is dreaming of her and Luke and they're living together (married, I assume) and having twins and they're so adorable. Foreshadowing...?
But in reality, what I love about their relationship is that they're best friends and Luke is absolutely infatuated with Lorelai. (i.e. he built her a chuppah.) Oh! And I loved when Luke found out that Lorelai wasn't getting married after all and he gave everyone at the diner free coffee. :)
Ross and Rachel from "Friends."
What can I say about Ross & Rachel? One of my favourite parts is in season two where they all watch an old prom video and Ross was going to take Rachel out when her date didn't show up. He was so heartbroken when it turned out that she had a date after all, and then Rachel just went over and kissed him. They're lobsters!
Seth & Summer from "The O.C."
Seth & Summer are so adorable (when they're not mad at each other). One of my favourite moments is the Spiderman kiss. I also loved the episode where Seth shows up at the prom after all and publicly declares his love for Summer in front of everyone. Awww...
Christy & Todd from "The Christy Miller Series."
There are so many Christy/Todd moments I can barely choose a favourite! But I'll narrow it down to two. First, at the end of book #12 when they meet in Spain on a missions trip, even though Christy had no idea it was going to be Todd who would meet her there. I also melt when Todd (finally) proposes to her uses candy hearts - placing three hearts that say "marry me" in front of her and then saying, "Once it's said three times, it's established forever." (Or something like that.)
I'm such a hopeless 'shipper/romantic... :)
